Youth Faith Formation

Join us for our 2026 - 2027 Program Year

Anyone who is wishing to receive the sacraments of First Communion or Confirmation are eligible to register for our YFF classes. Each sacrament requires two years of preparation. Students must be in at least the second grade to begin their preparation for First Communion. Students must be in at least the seventh grade to begin their preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation.

Requirements

Requirements for students wishing to receive the Sacrament of Communion are as follows:

• Students must be baptized and baptismal certificate must be on file.
• Students must be in grades 2-8.
• Students must have been in class the year prior. Proof of attendance will be requested if attendance was at a different parish.
• Students will be required to attend all classes.
• Additional fees will apply.

Schedule

• Preparation for a sacrament is a two-year commitment.
• Class Times: Saturdays from 9-11 a.m.
• Location: St. Helen School 2347 W. Augusta Blvd.
• Mass Attendance:  Students must attend a weekend mass preferable with their family.
• Once registration is completed and full payment is made, a schedule and program guide will be emailed.
• A parent meeting will be scheduled in September to learn more about our program. 

Cost

The cost of the classes will be as follows:

• The fee for one child will be $175
• The family fee is $250 
• Sacramental fees are: $25 for Baptism, $25 for Communion, $40 for Confirmation and are due at the time of sacramental meetings.
