Parish Council

Our Parish Council is a group composed of parishioners, along with priests and deacons, that advises the pastor on the pastoral life of the parish. Established to foster shared responsibility among laity and clergy, the council focuses on spiritual development, community building, and adapting to demographic changes while remaining true to the Gospel. It involves researching community needs, supporting existing ministries, evaluating parish life, and planning for the parish's future. The pastor is the leader and listens to the council's input for decision-making, ensuring collaboration in parish ministry.

Finance Council

Our Parish Finance Council assists the pastor in managing the parish's financial affairs, ensuring accountability to both the parish and the diocesan bishop. Although it does not have decision-making authority, the council plays a crucial consultative role in stewardship and accountability. Members work closely with the pastor who is responsible for financial management according to Canon Law, by sharing information, fostering discussion, and building consensus. To be effective, members should be committed to the Church’s mission, understand the parish’s goals and resources, and be familiar with diocesan policies. The pastor provides necessary guidance and support for the council's duties.
